At Fato a Man, Davide is committed to traditional Italian recipes and fresh ingredients, ensuring every dish is a flavorful delight. His culinary expertise—passed down through generations and cultivated through decades of experience—makes Fato a Man a unique culinary gem on Nantucket.

Originally from a small town between Venice and Padua, Italy, Davide developed an early passion for food and wine. He has spent nearly four decades working in renowned restaurants across Italy, London, San Francisco, New York, and Nantucket. In addition to his role as a Chef at Fato a Man, he is also a Sommelier.

Davide is joined by his wife and business partner, Kate, who was born and raised on Nantucket. Kate serves as the business manager, overseeing all marketing, communications, and operations.

 

After meeting in San Francisco in 2015, Davide and Kate were married in a backyard ceremony at Kate's family home on Nantucket in 2017. In January 2024, they officially moved to the island, and with great fortune, opened Fato a Man in March 2025.
