Cooking Recommendations

Bolognese, Genovese, or Pomodoro Sauce:

  1. Defrost: To prepare, defrost the sauce in a medium-sized pan over medium heat. Add half a cup of water and keep the lid on while heating.

  2. Finishing touches: Stir occasionally to ensure the sauce is completely defrosted and does not stick to the bottom of the pan. It should be ready in approximately 15 minutes.

Tagliatelle or Fettuccine Pasta:

  1. Fill a six-quart pot with at least one gallon of water. If cooking multiple packages, please use a larger pot and additional water.

  2. Add approximately 4 tablespoons of salt per gallon of water.

  3. Bring the water to a rolling boil.

  4. Add the entire package of pasta and stir to ensure the pieces are separated.

  5. Once the water returns to a boil, adjust the heat to maintain a steady boiling temperature.

  6. Cook the pasta for 3 minutes.

  7. Reserve half a cup of the pasta water, then strain the pasta.

Mixing Sauces & Pasta:

  1. Combine the pasta with the sauce and the half cup of water.

  2. Heat them up on high for a few seconds so the water evaporates and the sauce congeals with the pasta.

  3. Serve them with some grated Parmesan cheese on top.
