Cooking Instructions

Bolognese or Genovese Sauce

  1. Defrost the Bolognese sauce in a medium size pan, adding a half cup of water over medium heat with the lid on.

  2. Stir occasionally to make sure it is completely defrosted and does not stick to the bottom. It will take about 15 minutes to get ready.

Tagliatelle or Fettuccine Pasta

  1. In a six quart pot, fill with at least a gallon of water. (If cooking multiple packages at the same time, make sure to use a larger pot and more water.)

  2. Salt the water with about 4 tablespoons per gallon.

  3. Bring the water to a high boiling point.

  4. Toss the entire package of tagliatelle and stir them to make sure they loosen up.

  5. Once the water returns to boiling, turn down the heat to maintain a boiling temperature.

  6. Cook the pasta for 3 minutes.

  7. Set aside half a cup of the pasta water.

  8. Strain the tagliatelle.

Mixing Sauces & Pasta

  1. Combine the pasta with the sauce and the half cup of water.

  2. Heat them up on high for a few seconds so the water evaporates and the sauce congeals with the pasta.

  3. Serve them with some grated Parmesan cheese on top.
