Pasta Kit

Frozen egg tagliatelle pasta (10oz = 2 generous portions.) Ingredients: eggs, 00 flour and semolina flour. Bolognese sauce (enough to serve with a package of tagliatelle) Ingredients: pork, beef, tomato sauce, onions, celery, carrots, salt and pepper. Cooking instructions: - Defrost the Bolognese sauce on a medium size pan adding half cup of water over medium heat with the lid on. - Stir occasionally to make sure it’s completely defrosted and it doesn’t stick to the bottom. It will take about 15 minutes to get ready. - On a six quart pot fill up with at least a gallon of water. If cooking multiple packages at the same time make sure to use a larger pot and more water. - Salt the water with about 4 tablespoons per gallon. - Bring the water to a high boiling point. - Toss the entire package of tagliatelle and stir them to make sure they loosen up. - Once the water returns to boiling, turn down the heat to maintain a boiling temperature. - Cook the tagliatelle for 3 minutes. - Set aside half a cup of the pasta water. - Strain the tagliatelle. - Combine the tagliatelle with the sauce and the half cup of water. - Heat them up on high for a few seconds so the water evaporates and the sauce congeals with the pasta. - Serve them with some grated Parmesan cheese on top. - Buon appetito!
